Miggy’s diet

Good Morning,

Hope you are all well and set to enjoy the great weather today.
As promised I will continue to share with you some of the things that I have been doing which starts with the following, my diet.I have been asked a lot about what it is that I have changed so read below for more information. It is healthy and so much better than what I was putting in before. It is focused towards plant nutrition and other supplements like chaga mushroom tea’s of which are reported to help colon cancer. Please note this was my diet from March through to August of which I then changed as a result of meeting a lovely chap called Dr Mathews of who is trained in Auryvedic medicines. I will write about exactly what this is in another post. As always my approach is to try anything and everything as who knows what might help. We are all different each and everyone of us so therefore being open minded and not afraid to try something (even if it did not work for someone else) in my opinion has got to be worth a shot.
Mig’s diet
 
Typical daily diet which includes lots of green leafy salads, crucifix vegetables and fruits. I avoid as much as is possible anything processed, starchy carbohydrates and sugars. Also condiments ie tomato sauce & mayonnaise as these sorts of things are normally high in sugar and salts. I limit my meat intake and try to keep to chicken or fish. Again where possible Organic is best as it’s good to keep toxins to a minimum. My main aim is to eat foods that will nourish my body and give it the tools to help heal rather than things that have zero nutritional benefit ie biscuits or crisps although I love them so much…….
 
Breakfast: 
 
Warm water & sliced lemon (gently way to kick start your systems after a nights sleep in particular your liver and kidneys helping to flush out toxins. It also activates your digestive system and stimulates blood flow to your intestines and helps prevent constipation. Have before food or other hot drinks) 
Weetabix (you could have fruits or yoghurt’s but I have these at lunchtime)
Supergreen plant food – full of phytochemicals essential to nourish your cells and help reduce side effects from chronic disease’s.
CBD cannabis oil – non psychoactive and essential for helping nourish your endocannibinoid system (the master controller of all systems ie immune system, respiratory system etc…..
Chinese herbal remedies – as advised by acupuncturist. Helps to lower blood pressure, increase energy and improve overall health.
 
Lunchtime:
 
Salad bowl – rocket leaves spinach, kale (avoid iceberg lettuce as little nutritional value) tomatoespeppers, walnuts etc…I do add a dressing as otherwise it can be dry and boring.
Greek yogurt smoothie with berries – has zero fat and good pro-biotic content which is vital for maintaining good stomach health (over 70% of your immune system is found in this area alone) Blackberries, blueberries, raspberries etc….
 
Dinner:
 
Green vegetables – over half a plate, normally spinach, broccoli, kale and carrots.
Meats – mostly try to avoid especially red meat. Lean organic chicken or fish 
 
Snacks:
  • Grapes
  • Oranges
  • Seeds
  • Nuts 

Drinks: 

I avoid where possible anything cold as your body spends a lot of energy increasing it’s temperature. This can slow the digestion process and cause indigestion. That said on a very hot day a cold drink can reduce your core temperature so it’s about choosing what your body requires weather depending.

  • Normal Tea
  • Korean Ginseng Tea
  • Chaga Mushroom Tea
  • Mushroom complex Tea

Supplements:

  • Cannabis oil
  • Super green food
  • Chinese herbal tablets 
  • Turmeric
  • Ginger root
  • Garlic

Hello from Miggy

Good Evening All,

Hope you are all keeping well and healthy.
It’s been a while since I last posted and to be honest it’s been too long. That said I have kept myself busy and continued to increase my knowledge and understanding as best I can so over the next few weeks there will be lots of new updates talking about health, well being, diet and of course my favourite body nourishment…….cannabis oil.
But firstly I will kick off with an update on my medical situation Since I last posted I have had 2 further scans, July and October. Mostly they were positive in that the July scan showed that only 2 of my lung nodules had grown marginally but everything else had stayed the same including my liver. The October scan results were just as good if not better – my lung nodules have all remained the same, no growth with my liver nodule showing marginal growth. So why I am happy when there has been marginal growth? Because there has been no further spread outside the existing 2 area’s, the first positive. The 2nd positive is that mostly I have had in real terms no growth only marginal and only on 3 of which is great considering I have over 20 in total. The 3rd positive is that I still feel well and so much so that the Oncologist I saw last week said that surgery to remove the liver nodule was a possibility. This was not the case before as
I was told that no surgeon would consider operating due to the number of nodules on my lung but as they now seem to be stable this opinion has changed. So great news and this helps keep me focused and I will continue doing all the things that have brought me to this point so far.
There is however one thing that I have changed and that is my diet. This was as a result of seeing an Auryvedic doctor of which came about due to friend recommending him. Really amazing stuff so I will write a separate post about this shortly so watch this space……..

Heart FM

Fun and games with Marcella Whittingdale from Heart FM. We were doing a telephone interview last week with me recording only to get to the end and instead of pressing send I deleted it…. all 30 minutes of it.

She was so lovely and rang me back later that day and we did it again. I even managed to get it right this time.

OMG!…we’ve hit £11000 in 1 week!

Nearly enough for 6 weeks of Keytruda!!

Words fail me and my family, for people’s kindness support and donations ….we are grateful for every single penny!

Our friendly postman has just come to the door to wish miggy and I love and best wishes in our fund raising, and whilst doing so added an extra envelope with £50 in…… incredible…..
